Babywearing Alert! Pictorial

My ( 17 months and 26 pounds )son is still enjoying his wrap and I finally made a pictorial to show how great baby wraps are! It is up on my website HERE and I hope you'll like it! I also finished 2 more organic baby wraps: the first one was made of organic green cotton and a Versace shirt was used to make the front panel:

Babywearing benefits are numerous, for both parents and babies. To name a few: Babies are happy and cry less, they grow healthier and it is convenient for the parents (you're hand free!). You will find a great article on babywearing benefits at Babywearing International website. Babyywearing is great! Did I mention that nursing in public is not a problem? My organic baby wraps can be found on my website.

Rock Art

I find those rocks useful to teach my daughter how to count. She always has fun adding and subtracting and it makes math easy (I remember crying over math problems, so studious and boring). They can also fit into categories: small to big and they're soft to touch. Well, after a funny session and still playing, this is what she came up with:

Oh oh, look who's here!

Free Zoo Animals and why we don't go to the zoo

Definition: A zoological garden, zoological park, menagerie, or zoo is a facility in which animals are confined within enclosures, displayed to the public, and in which they may also be bred.
Below are a few notes taken from the wikipedia encyclopedia : In a modern zoo, about five animals are bred in captivity for every 20 animals on display.
When they arrive at the zoo, the animals are placed in quarantine, and slowly acclimatized to enclosures which seek to mimic their natural environment. For example, some species of penguins may require refrigerated enclosures.
For every animal caught in the wild, several more are killed in the process.
The condition of the animals varies widely, especially in zoos in countries with little or no regulations. Animals who breed frequently, such as deer, tiger, and lions may be killed for their meat. The downside to breeding the animals in captivity is that thousands of them are placed on "surplus lists" each year, and sold to circuses, animal merchants, auctions, pet owners, and game farms.
Below is Edith, a chimpanzee who was passed around 5 zoos before arriving in Texas at the age of 37.

Let's go to the zoo? We say no thanks!
Our print is available on organic baby bodysuit and toddler tee. Adult sizes are available too!

Surprising my daughter with a special gift!

My daughter is scared of bugs. Nothing seems to take this fear away. So I got the idea of surprising her with.... a special gift! I love to see her face when she receives mail in her name! Of course it sparkles my son's interest! What's inside? An adorable mini wooden doll from katsinthebelfry on Etsy. I chose the Spring pagan doll of course, she loves nature, blossoming flowers..... and is friend with bugs. My daughter was thrilled and my son wanted it, oops.... We all love my daughter's new friend., she called her Katani and takes her everywhere. Therapeutic? Time will tell.
